Training on Building Point Digitization Results SP2020

On March 23-25, 2021, BPS Central Java Province held a Training on Building Point Digitization for SP2020 Results. This activity is a continuation of the post SP2020 field data collection in the form of activities to compile integration of spatial data for the area and content of the SP2020 results. The training was carried out online through a zoom application with innas from the Central Java Province BPS, namely Mr. Hermawan Prasetyo and innas from the Regency BPS, namely Mrs. Siti Komsatun.

                    For three effective days, the activity discussed the stage of digitization after the SP2020 field. One of the results of the SP2020 field data collection is an SLS map that has been completed with the points / dots of inhabited buildings and building numbers as well as improvements to the SLS boundaries according to the field. The final output of this activity is a digital map that is in accordance with the SLS boundaries in the field, equipped with building points in digital form.

The resulting digital map will later be used in every survey or census activity at the Central Bureau of Statistics. The hope is that each data collection activity can be sourced from a clear statistical working area and can be used for the next 10 years.
