The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is a survey conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) specifically designed to collect employment data. Sakernas is held semi-annually, namely Semester I in February and Semester II in August. In order to prepare for the implementation of the August 2021 Sakernas, the Regional Instructor Training (Inda) of the Sakernas August 2021 by the Central Java Province BPS on 5-7 July 2021 with the distance training method (e-learning) which is divided into 3 (three) classes consisting of of the 68 candidates inda.

                    Question adjustments have been made in this Sakernas. Simplification of the questionnaire, grouping questions according to each topic and adding several questions related to the impact of Covid-19 were included in this Sakernas to meet the needs of BPS data users. Coordination and collaboration with stakeholders is very much needed in the collection of Sakernas data, especially in this pandemic situation.

                    Given the importance of Sakernas data for future development, Head of Central Java BPS Sentot Bangun Widoyono advised field officers to pay attention to every detail of questions and answers must be in accordance with respondents' answers in the SOP framework and maximize supervision in overseeing the results of the enumeration. Maintaining the conveyor belt process must be maintained so that the work can be completed on time according to the set target. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must continue to be worn and utilized during data collection, namely during interviews according to field SOPs in order to maximally protect ourselves, our families and the environment.
