Sakernas February 2022: Fresh Samples of Census Block 2020

On 17 - 19 January 2022, for 3 days the Regional Instructor training for the February 2022 National Labor Force Survey was conducted by the BPS-Statistics of Jawa Tengah Province online via zoom and e-learning which was attended by all Regional Instructor of  National Labor Force Survey candidates from the district/city BPS-Statistics in Central Java. National Labor Force Survey organized by the BPS-Statistics is specifically designed to collect employment data. National Labor Force Survey is held semi-annually, namely Semester I in February and Semester II in August. National Labor Force Survey February 2022 aims to provide sustainable basic employment data. Business process adjustments are still being implemented in the February 2022 National Labor Force Survey to anticipate the spread of COVID-19 which is still continuing during data collection in the field. Adjustments were made in terms of methodology, the implementation of updating the content of the census block and the concept of new residents based on Population Cencus 2020, as well as changes and improvements to the questionnaire. Methodologically, during the February 2022 National Labor Force Survey, a fresh sample of the census block was carried out using the 2020 BS and a full panel of Sakernas households in February and August 2020. The update of the contents of the census block was carried out in 2 stages, namely family identification and family-to-household conversion based on the 2020 map. The leadership advised all prospective Inda to always convey to prospective officers that all stages of implementation must be carried out according to the SOP framework that has been set and the conveyor belt process must be considered to avoid the accumulation of documents both in Enumerator and Supervisor.
