Construction Cost Index is a price index that describes the
construction cost of a district/city compared to the reference city. The
considerations in choosing a reference city are based on the index value of a
city that is close to the national average index and the completeness of the
data and consider other supporting factors. The reference city used in 2021 is
Makassar City.
In calculating the 2021 of Construction
Cost Index , the data used are data from
the Construction Costly Price Survey for the third quarter of 2020, the fourth
quarter of 2020, the first quarter of 2021, and the second quarter of 2021. The
weighing chart used in the calculation uses data from the Bill of Quantity
(BoQ), Book of Work Unit Price Analysis of the Ministry of Public Works and
Public Housing, as well as data on the realization of the Regional Revenue and
Expenditure Budget (APBD).
As released by BPS RI in the publication of
the 2021 Provincial and City District Construction Cost Index, the Construction
Cost Index’s value of the Jepara Regency in 2021 is 101.87. This means that the
construction cost of Jepara Regency is more expensive than Makassar City. When
compared to other urban districts in Central Java Province, Jepara Regency is
ranked the third most expensive.
For BPS-Statistics of Jepara Regency, this is
neither an increase in achievement nor a decrease in achievement, because BPS-Statistics
of Jepara Regency is only tasked with “taking pictures of conditions/reality”.
We only carry out statistical activities based on established SOPs. Hopefully
what we produce can be useful for the nation.
