BPS Jepara became the Champion in Sectoral Statistical Metadata Collection

The Central Bureau of Statistics was given the mandate as Sectoral Statistics Supervisor. BPS Jepara Regency made a commitment to this development by cooperating with the Jepara Regency BPS Kominfo Service. Starting from 2021, BPS Jepara Regency together with the Office of Communication and Information invites all OPD Services in the Jepara Regency Government to study metadata.

Apart from learning in theory, each participant who attended was also given a practical session directly filling in the metadata through the website. As a follow-up to filling in the metadata, in 2022 detailed coaching will also be carried out for all filling in both variable metadata, activity metadata and indicator metadata.

The hard work that has been carried out so far has paid off in the Provincial Level Coordination Meeting for the Evaluation of Initial Research and Research Data Collection, BPS won an award as Best Champion I in Sectoral Statistical Metadata Collection for 2022. Of course, this is a trigger for enthusiasm to continue to provide even more works.
