Training on Large and Medium Industrial Surveys (IBS)

On 7 to 8 May 2024, Jepara Regency BPS held Training on Large and Medium Industrial Surveys (IBS) in the Jepara Regency BPS Hall. This event was guided by the regional instructor, Ahmad Fahrur Rohim, who provided guidance to 24 participants consisting of 15 data collection officers (PCL) and 9 data processing officers (PML). The aim of this training is to produce accurate and reliable statistics for the medium and large scale manufacturing industry. The training was opened by the Head of Jepara Regency BPS, Manggus Suryono.

The IBS survey aims to collect data covering various aspects of the manufacturing industry, such as active and inactive companies, raw materials used, production volume, workforce, and other characteristics. Through this training, participants are taught appropriate and efficient data collection methods to ensure that the statistics produced can provide a comprehensive picture of the manufacturing industry in Jepara Regency.

With this training, it is hoped that officers in charge of the IBS Survey can improve their skills in collecting and processing industrial data. Accurate and reliable survey results will be an important basis for decision makers in industrial planning and development in Jepara Regency, as well as assist in formulating appropriate policies to improve the economic welfare of the local community.
