March 11, 2025 | BPS Activities
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Head of the Central
Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jepara Regency, Isnaini, together with the Food
Crops team carried out supervision of rice tiling in Bantrung Village, Batealit
District. This activity aims to ensure that the tiling process is carried out
in accordance with the applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), so that
the data produced is truly accurate and can be accounted for.
Although the implementation of this survey coincided with
the month of Ramadan, all officers remained enthusiastic and dedicated in
carrying out their duties. With great care, they measured and calculated the
harvest results in the designated tiling plots, ensuring that each stage of the
survey went well.
Why is the Ubinan Survey Important?
The Ubinan Survey is a survey conducted by the Central
Statistics Agency (BPS) to obtain data on the level of productivity of rice and
secondary crops in Indonesia. This data is collected routinely every subround
(every four months) and becomes the basis for planning and evaluating
agricultural sector policies.
Implementation of the Tiled Survey
Unlike other surveys that have a fixed schedule, the Tiled
Survey is carried out based on the sample farmers' harvest schedule, so that
this survey takes place throughout the year. BPS officers work together with
agricultural extension workers and farmers in the field to ensure that the data
obtained reflects the real conditions of agricultural productivity in the
region.
Towards Quality Data
The accuracy and quality of the tiled data are very
important to maintain. Accurate data will help the government in formulating
food security strategies, determining price policies, and providing a clearer
picture of agricultural conditions in Indonesia. Therefore, the participation
of various parties, from farmers to survey workers in the field, is needed to
realize quality data.
Let's support this effort
together!
#SobatData, quality data will
produce policies that are right on target!
