Statistics Jepara: Emulating Heroes, Building the Nation with Statistics

Monday, November 10, 2025, Statistics Jepara held a ceremony to commemorate Heroes' Day in the courtyard of its office. The ceremony was solemn, with all employees participating in the series of events with a spirit of nationalism. The Head of Statistics Jepara, Isnaini, acted as the ceremony leader, leading the tributes to the nation's heroes who died fighting for Indonesian independence.

In his address, Isnaini read a speech from the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Saifullah Yusuf, who urged all Indonesians to remember the services of the heroes who lit the light of the struggle for independence. The Minister emphasized that independence did not fall from the sky, but was born from patience, courage, honesty, togetherness, and sincerity. Three key exemplary qualities of these heroes need to be revived: patience in struggle, a spirit of prioritizing the nation's interests above all else, and foresight for the sake of future generations.

The Minister also emphasized that today's struggle is no longer fought with weapons, but with knowledge, empathy, and dedication to uphold justice and ensure that no child of the nation is left behind. Through the slogan "My Heroes Are My Role Models, Keep Moving, Continue the Struggle," he urged the entire community to continue the heroes' struggle by working hard, thinking clearly, and serving the nation sincerely, so that the fire of struggle never dies. The ceremony at BPS Jepara concluded with a collective prayer and a brief reflection, strengthening the employees' spirit to continue contributing to national development through accurate data and statistics.
