Abstract

• In April 2018 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.004 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 130.94. Inflation in Central Java occurred in three cities of SBH, while three other SBH cities experienced deflation.
• The calendar year inflation rate (April 2018 to December 2017) is 1.24 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate of Y / Y (April 2018 to April 2017) is 3.23 percent.
• The main cause of Central Java inflation in April 2018 is the rising prices of onion, gasoline, chicken eggs, rice with side dishes and non-foreman workers. While holding back the inflation rate is the decline in prices of rice, garlic, cayenne pepper, potatoes and oranges.
