Level of Inequality in Central Java Population Expenditure March 2019

Abstract

In March 2019, the level of inequality in Central Java's population expenditure as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.361, a slight increase of 0.004 points compared to the September 2018 Gini Ratio. The Gini Ratio in urban areas in March 2019 was recorded at 0.383, an increase compared to the September 2018 Gini Ratio of 0.377. However, it is still lower compared to the March 2018 Gini Ratio of 0.400. The same pattern also occurs with the Gini Ratio in rural areas, in March 2019 which was recorded at 0.318, a slight increase compared to the September 2018 Gini Ratio but still lower compared to the March 2018 Gini Ratio which were recorded at 0.315 and 0.336 respectively.
