Abstract

NTP Central Java March 2020 was 102.12 or down 1.14 percent compared to the previous month's NTP of 103.29. The decrease in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) falling by 0.86 percent, while the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) rising by 0.28 percent.

Of the five agricultural sub-sectors that make up the NTP, three sub-sectors experienced a decrease in the index, namely: the food crops sub-sector fell by 2.29 percent, the livestock sub-sector fell by 0.94 percent, and the fisheries sub-sector fell by 0.77 percent. Meanwhile, two sub-sectors experienced an increase in the index, namely the horticulture sub-sector rose by 1.78 percent, and the People's Plantation Crops sub-sector rose by 1.04 percent.
