Abstract
In December 2023, six cities in Central Java
combined experienced inflation of 0.21 percent with a Consumer Price Index
(CPI) of 116.62. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, all cities experienced
inflation. The highest inflation of 0.22 percent occurred in 3 cities, namely
Tegal City; Semarang City and Surakarta City each with a CPI of 118.46; 116.05
and 118.52 followed by Cilacap City at 0.18 percent with a CPI of 116.49;
Purwokerto City was 0.17 percent with a CPI of 117.08; and the lowest inflation
occurred in Kudus City at 0.15 percent with a CPI of 116.47.
