Level of Population Expenditure Inequality in September 2024 in Jawa Tengah Province

Abstract

In September 2024, the level of inequality in Central Java's population as measured by the Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.364. This figure is decreased 0.003 points when compared to the March 2024 Gini Ratio of 0.367.
Based on the World Bank's inequality measure, the distribution of expenditure in the bottom 40 percent group was recorded at 19.13 percent in the low inequality level category.
In September 2024 the Gini Ratio in urban areas was recorded at 0,392 which decreased compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2024 at 0.399. Meanwhile, the Gini Ratio in rural areas was recorded at 0.317 which increased compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2024 at 0.310.
