New Probis of Sakernas August 2021

In the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the August 2021 Sakernas will still be carried out in August – September 2021 by adjusting the business process (probis) of the field implementation. On August 1, 2021, a zoom meeting was held by BPS Central Java Province which was attended by the Regional Instructor (Inda) Sakernas August 2021 with the topic of explaining the new business process of Sakernas in August 2021. Training for Sakernas officers in August 2021 was held on August 2 - 6, 2021 online for 3 effective days with distance training method (e-learning).

               Business process adjustments are made at the stages of updating, sampling and enumeration. Updates on the content of the census block and household sampling at the August 2021 Sakernas have been removed (not implemented). The sample of households that will be enumerated at the August 2021 Sakernas uses a sample of households in the previous Sakernas period, namely the February 2021 Sakernas sample and the August 2020 Sakernas.

               The sample household enumeration is carried out using the main SOP, namely direct/face-to-face interviews according to strict health protocols, while the mitigation SOP is with a telephone interview by PCL. A copy of the contents of the Sakernas August 2020 and February 2021 Sakernas enumeration results into the August 2021 Sakernas questionnaire on the appropriate questions. After that, PCL confirmed the results of the previous Sakernas entries, if there were discrepancies, PCL had to update/correct the entries in accordance with the conditions at the time of enumeration; PCL must also ask new questions that did not exist in the previous Sakernas; PCL also records data/information from new household members that have not been recorded.
