A Visit to the Village of Love Statistics

In the context of implementing Law No. 16 of 1997 concerning statistics, the Central Bureau of Statistics has become the leading sector in the development of sectoral statistics as a form of developing the National Statistical System (SSN). Referring to PermenpanRB Number 25 of 2020 concerning the Roadmap for Bureaucratic Reform 2020-2024, BPS designed an independent quick win in order to accelerate the implementation of sectoral statistical development. Implementation of Beautiful Village as a means of strengthening BPS institutions. In line with the mandate of Law No. 16 and PermenpanRB No. 25 of 2020 mentioned above, BPS Jepara made preparations for the declaration of the Statistics Love Village (CANTIK) by visiting Kedungcino Village as a village that was selected as a Beautiful Village. Coinciding on Wednesday, June 22 2022 at 11.30, the leadership of BPS Jepara together with the CANTIK Village team had the opportunity to visit the Kedungcino Village Office, Jepara District.

 During this visit, the chairman explained the purpose and objectives of this visit to the village head. The chairman explained that the data needed by the ministry of institutions at this time is data sourced from the village. For this reason, BPS is ready to support statistical processes in terms of collecting, processing and presenting data in the village. Hopefully this visit will be a good step before the long steps ahead in order to realize the goal of the Desa Cinta Statistik (CANTIK) that we all hope for.
