The Declaration of Beautiful Villages and the Socialization of the Statistical Development Index

The Central Beureu Statistics as stipulated in Presidential Regulation 39 of 2019 is assigned the task of builder sectoral statistics. In its implementation, BPS set a quick win as a step to accelerate sectoral statistics development by launching the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Program. Based on the selection from the BPS RI and coordination with the Regional Government, Kedungcino Village, Jepara District was chosen as a Beautiful Village in Jepara Regency.

As a form of inauguration of Kedungcino Village as a Beautiful Village, the Declaration of Beautiful Village was held on July 25, 2022 at the Shima Secretariat Building, Jepara Regency. The event was opened directly by Pj. Regent of Jepara, Mr. Edy Supriyanta, ATD., SH, MM. The activity was attended by the Coordinator of Senior Officials throughout the Jepara Regency as well as the Head of the relevant Department of the Jepara Regency Government. With the Beautiful Village Program, it is hoped that it can improve the competence of village officials in managing and utilizing data so that village development planning is more targeted.

The event on that day was also integrated with the Socialization of the Statistical Development Index (IPS). It is hoped that through socialization it can help achieve the National Bureaucratic Reform target, namely “a clean and accountable bureaucracy” through the development of government data to be used in data/fact-based policy making.
