Development of Consumer Price Index/Central Java Inflation May 2019

Abstract

In May 2019 in Central Java there was inflation of 0.33 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 134.36. Inflation occurred in six SBH cities in Central Java. Purwokerto City experienced the highest inflation of 0.48 percent with a CPI of 132.91 followed by inflation in Semarang City of 0.36 percent with a CPI of 134.06; Tegal City of 0.30 percent with a CPI of 132.45; Surakarta City of 0.28 percent with a CPI of 131.30; Kudus City of 0.22 percent with a CPI of 141.89. The lowest inflation was in Cilacap City of 0.19 percent with a CPI of 138.89.
