Development of Central Java Consumer Price Index/Inflation March 2021

Abstract

Central Java inflation in March 2021 was 0.08 percent. 
In March 2021, Central Java experienced inflation of 0.08 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.01. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, five cities experienced inflation and one city experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in the city of Surakarta at 0.16 percent with a CPI of 105.76 followed by the city of Kudus at 0.08 percent with a CPI of 105.23;  Semarang city by 0.08 percent with a CPI of 106.32;  Purwokerto city by 0.06 percent with a CPI of 105.45; and the lowest inflation occurred in the city of Cilacap at 0.03 percent with a CPI of 104.69. The only city that experienced deflation was the city of Tegal at 0.03 percent with a CPI of 106.31
