Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator of the achievement of the development of the quality of life of the people which is compiled based on three basic dimensions, namely longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and a decent standard of living. The dimensions of longevity and healthy living are represented by indicators of life expectancy at birth. The knowledge dimension is represented by indicators of long school expectations and average length of schooling, while decent living standards are represented by per capita expenditure.
