Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator of the achievement of the development of the quality of life of the community which is compiled based on three basic dimensions, namely a long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living. Dimensions of longevity and healthy life are represented by indicators of life expectancy at birth. The knowledge dimension is represented by the indicators of expected years of schooling and the average length of schooling, while the standard of living is represented by per capita expenditure.
