TRAINING OF REGIONAL INSTRUCTORS FOR VILLAGE POTENTIAL DATA COLLECTION (PODES) 2021

"We congratulate our duties in the Regional Instructor Training (Inda) Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) 2021, obey the schedule and SOPs when field implementation is carried out and must prioritize health protocols, maintain data quality so that we are able to produce the best data that is useful for nation development" message Sentot Bangun Widoyono, Head of Central Java Province BPS in the opening ceremony of the PODES2021 Inda Data Collection Training. A firm aura was seen in the opening ceremony of activities carried out virtually through the zoom meeting that morning, Monday, May 18, 2021.

The Inda PODES2021 training at BPS Central Java Province lasts for 4 (four) days from 18 - 21 May 2021. In a pandemic situation, training is conducted virtually through e-learning guided by National Instructors (Innas) from BPS Central Java Province and BPS RI. The training was attended by 64 Inda candidates from Regency / City BPS and Central Java Province BPS which were divided into 3 (three) classes. Each class consists of Innas, admin and candidate inda. BPS Jepara Regency sent 2 (two) people to serve as PODES2021 Data Collection Center. The inda candidate will later teach the prospective PODES2021 data collection officers in the Jepara area. The purpose of the 2021 Podes Data Collection is to generate data for regional development needs, provide data on regional potential, availability of infrastructure / facilities, and socio-economic conditions in each village / kelurahan. The types of data collected consisted of PODES2021-DESA, PODES2021-KECAMATAN, and PODES2021-KABUPATEN which were collected through the CAPI application. With the data collection through the CAPI application, PODES data collection is equipped with predefined data (previous year's data) so that it can ensure data quality and consistency. High quality and reliable PODES data output is essential for regional / territorial development planning and evaluation.
