The development of prices for goods
and services in rural areas is one of the government's concerns in determining
policies, especially at the household level, both in terms of production and
consumption. Changes in the prices of goods and services will in turn affect
the pattern of production and consumption patterns that occur in society. In
addition, changes in people's incomes, patterns of supply and demand for goods
and services, as well as changes in attitudes and behavior have also played a
role in changes in people's production and consumption patterns over the past
few years.
The Rural Price Survey (SHPed) is
carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) on a monthly basis including
monitoring the development of agricultural commodity prices along with the
prices of production factors used by farmers from the production side and
monitoring the development of prices for goods and services consumed by
households in rural areas. rural areas in terms of consumption. Monitoring the
development of prices for goods and services from both sides is used to
calculate NTP in the form of the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) and the
Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib). The farmer referred to here is a person who
runs a sharecropper's agricultural business (lease/contract/profit sharing) by
taking the risk. People who work in other people's fields with the expectation
of wages (farm labour) are not farmers.
Surveys for calculating NTP (Farmers'
Exchange Rate) include the Rural Producer Price Survey and the Rural Consumer
Price Survey. The Rural Producer Price Survey includes the Rural Producer Price
Survey for the Food Crops Sub-sector, the Rural Producer Price Survey for the
Horticulture Sub-sector, the Producer Price Survey for the People's Plantation
Sub-sector, the Producer Price Survey for the Livestock Sub-sector, the Survey
on Producer Prices for the Capture Fisheries Sub-sector and the Producer Price
Survey for the Aquaculture Sub-sector. in the district of Jepara. Because there
are not enough samples for calculating FTT in Jepara, the NTP value is still
the figure for Central Java Province. Producer Price Survey The enumeration is
carried out on the 15th to 18th of each month by asking farmers regarding the
unit price of the products sold and to traders/agricultural service providers
regarding the prices/tariffs of goods/services sold from the 1st to the 15th.
counting month.
In addition to the Producer Price
Survey, a Rural Consumer Price Survey was also conducted which included a Rural
Consumer Price Survey for the Food Group, a Rural Consumer Price Survey for the
Non-Food Building Materials, Services and Transportation Group, and a Rural
Consumer Price Survey for the Non-Food Group of Other Household Appliances. The
time for enumeration is between the 1st to the 14th of each month.
Considering that the data is used as material for calculating NTP, we
still need respondents' willingness to be asked for price data. Thank you to
all respondents to the Rural Producer and Consumer Price Survey in Jepara
Regency for providing timely data, your participation is needed for future
development planning.
